Proudly Thame is founded and funded by Scott&Young Ltd, a Thame company. It is free to join and always will be. Why we do it ›
Proudly ThameOne mark. One town.

The welcome pack

What arrives when you join

Membership is free and stays free — and so is the pack. Scott&Young pays for the decals, the cards and the printing, because a mark you had to buy would not mean the same thing.

  • The decalYour printed outdoor-vinyl window decal carrying the markFounding 50 members receive theirs individually numbered, 001–050
  • The welcome cardA printed card confirming your membership of the schemeSomething for the wall, the counter or the shelf
  • The guideOne page on using the mark well — window, door, till, onlineThe mark works hardest when the whole town uses it the same way
  • DeliveryHand-delivered in Thame wherever we canIt’s a town scheme — we’d rather say hello than post it

Who pays for it, honestly

Free means free — and someone still pays the printer

There is no fee to register, no subscription, no renewal and no charge for the pack. Printing it costs real money, and Scott&Young Ltd covers that cost as the founder and funder of the scheme — the same way it covers this website. No member is asked for a penny, and no public money is involved.

Proudly Thame Gold

Gold members — businesses live on OX9.app — receive the same pack. Gold is a separate paid product of Scott&Young Ltd; it changes nothing about the free mark or the free pack.
